The Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Russ Berrie Home for Jewish Living, offers residents and their families the latest in technological advances and an uncommon array of amenities in a caring and supportive environment.
Our 180 private rooms have large windows with views of the magnificent grounds and surroundings. The hallways are flooded with natural light and overlook courtyards and landscaped atria with outdoor seating. Each spacious room features contemporary custom designed furnishings, a private bath and plenty of closet space, as well as telephone, Web TV, cable and Internet access.
The health and well-being of our residents is our primary concern. Our fully equipped on-site medical suites offer resident and outpatient medical, dental, ophthalmologic and podiatric care. We also run an outpatient Adult Day Health Care Center.
Residents can participate in a range of activities that are provided seven days and four nights a week:
- State-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center
- Green House Roof Gardens offer horticultural programs and recreational activities;
- Computer Lab with individual work stations and Internet access, for use by residents and guests;
- Musical performances;
- Shabbat and Holiday services.
Our "Free Spirit Wing" provides a secure unit with 42 private rooms designed for those suffering from stages of dementia.
Visiting families can take advantage of amenities such as overnight guest suites, private dining rooms and handsome function rooms. We offer the services of a full-time Rabbi, and our lovely chapel provides residents, families and the community with the opportunity to participate in daily and holiday services and celebrate family simchas.
